A special shout-out to the founding partners Tomorrowland, VITO, and G-STIC. Their support made this year’s event truly magical. The event was honored to host over 40 distinguished speakers and industry leaders, including Dirk De Wachter, Eva Smets, Boyan Slat, Inge Neven & Elena Doms and many more, who shared their insights and vision.
The grand opening of Love Tomorrow 2024, held in the enchanting Crystal Garden, was a highlight of the event. Debbie Van Dijck and Joris Beckers kicked off the festivities, focusing on critical topics such as food, energy, mobility, safety, waste, and health. Festivals, like cities, face complex challenges, and each edition offers a fresh opportunity to innovate and evolve. Love Tomorrow serves as not just an inspiring platform but also a testing ground for groundbreaking ideas. The session featured four trailblazers who reflected on the progress made and the challenges that lie ahead in making the world’s largest dance and music festival more sustainable.
The Love Tomorrow Job Fair, in collaboration with VDAB, was a resounding success. More than 200 job opportunities from visionary companies such as Tomorrowland, VRT, and many others, there were over 420 applications on the job platform. It is hoped that this event will spark the beginning of rewarding, future-proof careers and drive the necessary change.
During the event, the Matchmaking tool facilitated over 350 meetings between startups, investors, companies, and more, creating numerous opportunities for collaboration and growth within the innovative ecosystem.
Throughout the event, over 5,500 visitors explored the many offerings of Love Tomorrow 2024. After a delightful dinner break, Freedom by Bud came alive with an incredible evening show that blended music, art, and visionary ideas. The night culminated in an exhilarating afterparty with world-renowned DJs Ida Engberg and ANNA, providing a perfect opportunity for the community to connect, dance and reflect on the experiences of the day.
