David Sirota is an award-winning journalist and bestselling author. He co-created the story for the blockbuster Netflix film Don’t Look Up, which was nominated for an Academy Award and won the Writers Guild of America’s 22 award for best original screenplay. Sirota was also Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign speechwriter in 2020, the creator of MELTDOWN – a podcast on the financial crisis, a columnist at The Guardian and the founder and editor of The Lever.
