Emma Posman captured hearts internationally with her last-minute performance as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute at the Salzburg Festspiele. This marked the beginning of her remarkable journey in the world of opera, resulting in her performing the role in 11 unique productions across Europe. Emma’s repertoire spans performances in Il Trittico, Pique Dame, and Solar at La Monnaie, to her debut with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in the acclaimed ‘Mozart Concert Arias’ by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
She further explored her talent in the contemporary opera, Les Chatîments, at Opéra de Dijon and thrilled audiences with her roles of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Valencienne in Die Lustige Witwe at the Zomeropera in Alden Biesen. In 2021, Emma joined the young ensemble of Grand Theatre de Genève, further affirming her place in the international opera community. Her immense talent was recognised in 2018 when she was awarded the prestigious Caecilia Young Artist of the Year award.
