Inge Genné, currently serving as the Program Manager Water at VITO, is a fervent champion for the planet. Her journey began with a PhD in Chemistry, which ignited her passion for sustainable solutions and led her to become a specialist in membrane technology. Inge initiated the industrial water management team at VITO, directing her focus towards strategies for water efficiency and reuse.
Today, Inge is the beating heart of VITO’s market-driven innovation program, addressing water challenges with a unique systemic approach. She skilfully guides her team to pioneer innovative solutions, staying at the forefront of sustainability transition for both corporations and governments.
At the Love Tomorrow Conference, Inge will impart her insights gained as coordinator of the groundbreaking Vlaanderen WaterProof project. In collaboration with core partner Aquafin, she has successfully bridged people and technology to carve new paths and amplify impact, aligning perfectly with Flanders’ Blue Deal strategy.
