After traveling the world for five years in slow travel mode, Louis De Jaeger realized the impact humans are having on the environment and decided to make a difference. He is a passionate speaker with experience across Europe, having spoken to corporate CEOs, the European Commission, Flemish Parliament, non-profits, international PhD students, and entrepreneurs. He has written two books on the future of agriculture and food forests and over 50 opinion pieces on sustainable themes. Louis has founded the ByeByeGrass movement with well-known Flemish people and the garden and landscape architecture firm Commensalist, which transforms gardens of 30 square meters into projects of 300 hectares across borders. He makes documentaries and TV shows about sustainability and the planet and is committed to transforming as much acreage of land as possible into food forests and regenerative agriculture.
