In a rapidly changing world, it can be overwhelming finding solutions to the problems faced. Flanders Technology & Innovation (FTI) and Love Tomorrow are looking to bring clarity and hope, with a series of inspirational talks and artistic events featuring experts: discover what’s in store across the week of FTI Hasselt.
From March 16 – 21, FTI and Love Tomorrow will be taking guests on a journey at FTI Hasselt, a series of events based around technology, innovation and sustainability. A focus on ‘People Making Places’ will cover five themes: mobility, circularity, food, energy and urban culture. Love Tomorrow will host a stage around the theme of urban culture, with a number of curated keynotes and discussions led by guest speakers at the forefront of change. As technology, art and culture interact, what lies at the intersection is potential for real transformation. In an environment that encourages creativity and diversity, the possibilities are endless: our Love Tomorrow topics explore how that can be harnessed and how people can be united in visions of the future.
What’s in store for the week? FTI Hasselt will be kicked off on Saturday March 16th as a spectacular evening of music and tech takes place, with a line-up of local talent, an exciting headliner and incredible DJs. Then, onto the main event. From Sunday 17, some of the greatest minds in the space will host a series of talks across their expert topic. There will be everything from discussions on sustainability in the festival space by leaders in the industry, a fascinating insight into the role of urban planning and nature, practical advice on creating an oasis of calm in the bustle of life, inspiring panels for and by youngsters on mental health and activism, an exploration of technology’s effect on music and so much more. These talks are complemented with artistic events such as spoken word, Ashtanga yoga classes, culinary exhibits, a musical open stage, and a unique immersive music concert showcasing technological advancements.
